Polifonies Vivantes, under the patronage of the French Ministry of Culture and the National Centre for Scientific Research, and with the help of the Royaumont Foundation, organized a meeting of the working group of experts in traditional polyphony of different cultures in Royaumont Abbey, from March 1-4, 1994. Participants also attended performance-demonstrations of African polyrhythmic, Corsican polyphony, and Georgian polyphony. No materials of this meeting were published.
